ILLUSTRATION
My illustration work explores shape, texture, and color with attention to detail and storytelling. Inspired by nature, everyday life, and abstract forms, these pieces balance playfulness with deliberate composition. I primarily work in Procreate and Adobe Illustrator, translating sketches and ideas into polished, professional illustrations.

DIGITAL PAPER CRAFT
This series of five images explores my “digital paper craft” technique, created entirely in Procreate. By layering textures, shadows, and cut-paper effects, I replicate the tactile quality of traditional paper art in a digital format. These works range from editorial projects to personal illustrations, showcasing how digital tools can capture the charm of handcrafted design while remaining versatile and scalable.

Mycelium Mysteries (Cover & Spread): Educational children's magazine concept combining storytelling, science, and playful paper-craft style illustration. Created in Procreate, then finalized in InDesign to add text and prepare for print.

Wayne State Alumni Valentine's Day Banners (2024 & 2025): Commissioned digital banners for the university's online alumni newsletter, updated annually with refreshed colors and details.

BUNNY & FLORAL PATTERN
This project began with a vector illustration of a rabbit and florals, which I refined into a seamless surface pattern. The pattern is shown both as a full design and applied to products, demonstrating how illustration can translate into versatile, real-world applications while maintaining visual charm and cohesion.

A WEEK IN MOODS
This series explores the emotional journey of a single character across the weekdays, using illustration to convey distinct moods from Monday through Friday. Each portrait reflects a specific feeling — from dread and worry to anger, wonder, and joy — creating a visual narrative that unfolds over the course of the week. The project emphasizes expression, storytelling, and cohesion across multiple illustrations.
