Grace Davenport is a conceptual artist brand created to explore sustainable, nature-inspired, and educational design. I envisioned her as a creative entrepreneur who teaches, sells original patterns, and fosters a community of like-minded artists.

The case study highlights the development of her visual identity, including a warm, nature-inspired color palette, clean and elegant typography, and fully original illustrations and surface patterns.

Through this project, I explored how illustration, pattern design, and storytelling can create a cohesive and approachable brand experience.

PROCESS & OUTCOME
The design process included research into similar artist brands, mood boards, and analysis of typefaces, color palettes, and layouts. I created all visual elements — patterns, illustrations, and mockups — to bring Grace Davenport’s world to life, from merchandise to web and app screens.

RESULTS
Multiple iterations refined the logo, typography, and brand aesthetics, resulting in a cohesive identity that demonstrates my skills in illustration, pattern design, layout, typography, color theory, and product visualization.

REFLECTION
This case study emphasizes the integration of storytelling, visual design, and original artwork in crafting a distinctive creative brand, and reinforced my interest in developing narrative-driven identities that feel approachable and inspiring.
